Career objective
- To synthesize and characterize π-conjugated functional materials for organic electronics and renewable energy application.
- To integrate various area of science for addressing some raised issues of fundamental problems of human civilization such as energy crisis and environmental hazards created by ourselves from our daily activity.
Biographical sketch
After finishing my undergraduate studies from J. K. College, Purulia in chemistry (2007), I joined Burdwan University for MSc. After finishing MSc, I registered myself for PhD programme in the department of chemical sciences of Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Kolkata (IISER-K). I got PhD degree in chemical sciences by succesfully defending my thesis entitled 'Synthesis of pi-Conjugated Materials for Organic Electronics and Sensors' under supervision of Dr. Sanjio S. Zade. During my PhD I visited Goettingen University, Germany as a part of student exchange programme between IISER-K and Goettingen University. I started my first post-doctoral study at National University of Singapore with Dr. Chi chunyan. Then I spent two years in department of physical chemistry of Uppsala University as post-doctoral fellow with Dr. Haining Tian. I worked for one year as university research scientist at Ulsan National University of Science and Technology with Prof. Young S. Park. I worked as a CNRS senior postdoctoral fellow at CEISAM University of Nantes, France for 3 years with Dr. Odobel group. Currently I am working as a scientific manager at Aragen Lifesciences, Nacharam, Hyderabad.
